PixelPrices ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

1. Data We Collect

PixelPrices collects minimal data to function properly:

• Favorites and price alerts — stored locally on your device only, using AsyncStorage. We never transmit this data to our servers.
• Premium purchase status — stored locally on your device to remember your upgrade.
• No account required — PixelPrices does not require you to create an account or provide personal information.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not build user profiles.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

PixelPrices uses the following third-party APIs to display game prices and information. These services may log standard request metadata (e.g. IP address) per their own privacy policies:

• CheapShark API (cheapshark.com) — provides real-time PC game prices and deals.
• RAWG API (rawg.io) — provides game metadata and cover images.
• Google AdMob (free version only) — displays ads in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing — processes the Premium in-app purchase. We do not receive or store your payment information.

4. Advertising

The free version of PixelPrices displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Privacy → Ads (Android) or Settings → Privacy → Apple Advertising (iOS).

The Premium version of PixelPrices is completely ad-free.

5. In-App Purchases

PixelPrices offers a one-time Premium upgrade at $2.99 USD. Purchases are processed securely by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). We do not receive, store, or process any payment card information.

6. Data Security

All user data (favorites, alerts, premium status) is stored exclusively on your device using secure local storage. It is never transmitted to our servers.

7. Children's Privacy

PixelPrices is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
